26th of January is a gala day for every Indian. On 26th Jan. 1950, the Constitution of India came into force, and our country, India became the Republic. We celebrate this day as a festival every year. This year 72nd Republic Day has been celebrated in St. Vincent Pallotti College. The chief guest for the occasion was the Director of our college very Rev. Fr. Shanti Prakash Panna. Principal Major Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Asst. Director Fr. Julius Xess, Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri, HOD’s of all departments, Librarian, Professors and NCC students were present to celebrate this auspicious day with great enthusiasm and proudness.
The Director unfurled the national flag. This was followed by our National Anthem ‘Jan Gan Man’. The Director of our college addressed the gathering. A vote of thanks was given by Ms. Vidhi Chhabra (Asst. Professor, Dept. of Commerce). At last, refreshments were arranged for the teachers in the Commerce Staffroom.
